Education & Outreach

Education & Outreach

Knowledge should reach everyone who can use it. We invest in education programmes, community engagement and public awareness — sharing expertise across the professions and beyond, so more people understand and benefit from advances in imaging and cancer care.

Why it matters

Sharing knowledge widely

Advances in imaging and cancer care only help people if the knowledge reaches them. We invest in education for the professions and outreach to the wider public — closing the gap between what’s possible and what’s understood, so more patients and communities feel the benefit.

What we do

Three ways we share what we know

Education

Study days, webinars and learning resources that keep the professions current and connected. Placeholder — programme detail to follow.

Community engagement

Partnerships that widen access and participation across the sector and beyond. Placeholder — initiatives to be confirmed.

Public awareness

Outreach that demystifies diagnosis and treatment for the wider public. Placeholder — campaigns to be detailed here.

Outreach story
In their words

Reaching underserved communities

An outreach programme backed by ROC set out to raise awareness of early diagnosis in communities where it’s often lowest — running sessions in local settings rather than waiting for people to come to a clinic.

Hundreds of people attended, several were signposted to screening they’d otherwise have missed, and local professionals gained skills and confidence they’ve carried into their day-to-day work.

“We reached people who’d never have walked into a hospital for this. That’s exactly who outreach is for. Placeholder quote to be replaced with a real programme lead’s words.”
